Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki also served as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] There was speculation that Psaki would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30, 2014. She was named Communications Director in the White House and continued to do so until the end of the year in 2015.
